LEVEL LOADS ONLY – NO FIRES

ITEMS NOT PERMITTED IN SKIPS

Fridges, Freezers, Asbestos, Tyres, Gas Bottles, Paint, Oil, Animal Waste, Fire Extinguishers and Clinical Waste. 1 mattress per skip is allowed as long as it maintains a level load, any more than 1 mattress will incure and extra charge. Any items of these items found upon disposal will incur penalty charges at our discretion.

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

  1. If the hirer directs a vehicle delivering or collecting the skip to leave the public highway they shall fully indemnify us in respect of any loss, cost, claim, damages or expenses. 
  2. We may thereby sustain whether as a result of personal injury or as a result of damage to the vehicle itself or to the property of the hirer or third parties.
  3. During the continuance of a contract the hirer shall make good to the owner all loss or damage to the skips whilst on hire to them from whatever cause the same may arise, fair wear and tear expected and shall also fully completely indemnify the owner in respect of all claims by any person whatsoever for injury to any persons or property caused by or in connection with or arising out of the use of skips and in respect of all damages, claims, charges and demands in connection therewith howsoever the same may arise.
  4. The hirer undertakes to fill the skip within the period of hire and to inform the owner in good time of it’s readiness for collection.
  5. The owner can accept no responsibility for failure to supply or for delay in supplying or collecting of skips which may be due directly or indirectly to any cause or circumstances beyond his control or any unforseen or abnormal condition.
  6. The hirer shall not move the skip from the site or it's original position on the site to which it was delivered unless prior consent be obtained from the owner.
  7. Unless otherwise agreed by the owner in writing, these terms and conditions shall apply to all orders placed with us. Any stipulations or conditions contained in a hirers order form which would conflict with any of these terms and conditions or in any way qualify or negative the same shall be deemed to be inapplicable to any order placed with us.
  8. That the waste material is of such a nature that the regulations issued by the secretary of state under the deposit of poisonous waste act 1972 (hereinafter called “the act”) in force on the date of the removal of each loaded skip exempt the waste material being removed from the provisions of the act.
  9. Skips that cannot be collected due to being blocked in, dangerously overloaded or unpaid for will incur a £60 wasted journey charge.
  10. Online orders that requested payment on delivery must pay for the skip on the delivery day only. Wasted journeys will be charged at £60.
  11. If you place an order via our site, you will be presented with confirmation on your screen that your order has been received by us. Your contract is formed when this has been presented.
  12. You will also receive a confirmation email. Please make sure that the email address, delivery address and telephone number you provide are correct and in proper working order. 
  13. You may only place orders if you are at least 18 years old. By ordering, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

CANCELLATION

  1. You have the right to cancel an order by contacting us by telephone or email up until the day before the order date. 
  2. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the delivery date 100% of total hire charge is payable.
  3. In the unfortunate circumstance that we need to cancel your order after it has been accepted, we will notify you. We reserve the right to cancel any order, before or after acceptance, and will notify you immediately of any such cancellation.
  4. You will not be charged for any orders we cancel. Any payment made prior to an order being cancelled by us or will typically be reimbursed using the same method originally used by you to pay for your order.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

  1. Prices are as quoted on our site and may be subject to change, although changes will not affect orders already placed (unless due to a technical error). Prices include VAT.

 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY FIRES BE LIT IN THE SKIP, AS THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE AND BE CHARGEABLE.
